What we collect

When you sign in we receive your email address and display name from our identity provider (signin.ounie.com). When you write an article we record which of your brains you selected, the subject and options you entered, and the article produced — its sections, the citation pointers (brain id and page slug) behind them, the gaps it named, and which retrieved pages the topic anchor kept and dropped.

What we do not keep

Your brain content.Article Studio reads your pages at writing time through Ounie's API, as you, and stores only the pointer — never the source text. That is also why rewriting a section re-reads your brain live rather than replaying a stored copy: there is no stored copy to replay.

We do not track you across the web. No third-party analytics, no advertising pixels, no session replay. We do not sell, share or resell anything you generate.

Where data lives

Application data (articles, sections, run records, credit ledger entries) is stored in a single Neon Postgres database hosted in the US. Exports are generated on demand and never stored.

Preview links

A /p/<token> preview link is public to anyone holding it and marked noindex. It is served with no-store, which means revoking it takes effect immediately — nothing is cached at the edge that could outlive the revocation. Do not put material in an article you would not want a link-holder to read.

Keyless calls

An x402 call has no account, so it is not stored: the text you supply is used to produce the response and is not retained afterwards. The response is the whole deliverable.

Payments

Payments happen on ounie.com, where Stripe processes credit purchases. This product never sees your card number; it only reads and debits your Ounie credit wallet. Stripe's privacy policy lives at stripe.com/privacy. Keyless x402 payments settle on Base and are public on chain by nature.

Deletion

Deleting an article deletes its sections; your brain on ounie.com is untouched. To delete your account or download your data, open a privacy ticket. We respond within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30.
